Gutter Cleaning in Vinton, VA

Gutters have one job: get water off the roof and away from the house. Packed with leaves and shingle grit they do the opposite, holding water against the fascia and dumping it at the foundation.

Searching for gutter cleaning near you? It's ladder work, and it's the one job on this list where doing it yourself is genuinely the riskiest option.

Clean gutter run after a cleanout

The problem

What a packed gutter does

  • Water held against fascia and soffit until the timber goes
  • Overflow at the foundation instead of out at the downspout
  • Ice building in the run over winter and pulling the hangers loose
  • Seedlings actually growing in the trough, which means it's been years

The work

What we do

  • Cleared by hand end to end, not blown out and left in the beds
  • Downspouts flushed and checked for flow
  • Debris bagged on the roof and carried down
  • A word if we spot loose hangers, split seams or fascia going soft

How it goes

Four steps, no surprises.

Cleared by hand

End to end, including the corners and behind the downspout heads.

Downspouts flushed

A clear gutter feeding a blocked downspout hasn't solved anything.

Before you call

Questions we get a lot.

How often should gutters be cleaned?

Once a year for most houses, twice where there are big trees close by. If you have oaks or pines over the roof, once in late fall and once in spring is the realistic answer.

Do you clean up afterwards?

Yes. Debris is bagged on the roof and carried down. We don't blow it out into the beds and call it done.

Will you tell me if something's wrong up there?

Yes. We're on the roofline anyway, so if hangers are pulling, a seam has split or the fascia is going soft, you'll hear about it. We don't do that work, but you'll know before it gets expensive.
